Key Requirements for Medical Coding Positions
To be considered for these exciting remote opportunities in health care coding and consulting services, candidates must meet the following criteria:
ED Facility and Pro Fee Coders:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant experience in ED Facility and Pro Fee coding.
- Proven expertise in Injections & Infusions coding and E/M leveling is essential.
SDS Facility Coders:
- A minimum of 4 years of acute care hospital coding experience is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICD-10-PCS and CPT-4 coding systems with a consistent accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
- Must hold a valid AAPC or AHIMA certification. Please note that CPC-A and CCA certifications are not accepted for these positions.
